Who You’ll Meet
Well, it's somehow already Wednesday again - so let's get wandering!
It's no secret that you meet amazing people when you travel.
My adventures have given me some of the most wonderful friends, in beautiful places all over the world… and I truly consider them one of the greatest gifts and blessings of my life.
But there is something even more important that can only be found by venturing far away from the corner of the world where you were born and raised.
Outside the borders of your comfort zone, hidden away in plain sight for those brave enough to endeavor to seek them, are versions of yourself that you don't even realize exist.
These versions of you (that you've yet to meet) are patiently waiting for your curiosity and bravery to grow strong enough to journey far enough to find them.
And in return for this courageous seeking, your life will be irreversibly enriched.
For these versions of you, dormant until you unearth them far from home, are profoundly true — yearning to be realized and actualized.
While home, you may sometimes feel stuck or stagnant… but these versions of you know with certainty, without a trace of doubt, that you are free, fluid, and limitless.
The feeling of limitation is a false perception that fades away when you finally encounter these new facets of yourself.
The undeniable truth — that you will come to know — is that your strength, your compassion, your capacity to grow, learn, and evolve is infinite.
You have interests and passions you've never even considered, joy and bliss you haven't yet experienced, connections and love deeper than you've ever imagined…
Your wildest dreams will pale in comparison to your truest reality.
So the biggest blessing that you can give yourself is to start honestly and wholeheartedly seeking out these truths, wandering until you find them…
Travel more… Travel farther…
Open your heart and mind to every aspect of travel and the experiences that it gives you - the people, the food, the music, the landscapes, the culture.
If you embrace them all, in turn, they will introduce you to yourself.
Only then will you meet who you're truly meant to be.
